History
After twenty seven years of not having a venue or a stage to entertain in, the town of Wrightwood, California on July 4th 2005, finished a CSA 56 pocket park. With the help of Gerry O’Reilly, Special Districts Manager for this area, the Wrightwood Musicians Guild, formed by Dan Campbell, and the Wrightwood community received a serious mountain stage. During the negotiations for the stage, the premise for the style was to provide a concert series to the community. The county recognized the need for this park and went with a mountain stage similar to that in Arizona and Colorado. One week later, with an informal first meeting, at the Yodeler Restaurant, ten local musicians showed their commitment to the idea and the rest is history. The goal for this first concert series was to instill in the Wrightwood community that they have a new stage and that there is a place to go and relax to free entertainment.

About the Wrightwood Musicians Guild
The Wrightwood Musicians Guild was created to provide a pool of dedicated Musicians to support the 2005 Music in the Pines Concert Series. The goal is to allow the musicians in the Wrightwood area to showcase new and unique musical styles, and provide local musicians with a fun venue for exposure to the local community and hopefully entertain some people as well. For more information about the Wrightwood Musicians Guild, email Dan Campbell at danys1@mac.com, or call 760.249.6231.
